A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Olmsted Falls High School boys lacrosse team
on securing the 2023 Division II State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Olmsted Falls High 2
School boys lacrosse team as the 2023 Division II State Champion; and 3
WHEREAS, Throughout their triumphant season, the members of the 4
Olmsted Falls High School boys lacrosse team have epitomized the 5
speed, agility, stamina, and skill that befit authentic champions. 6
Their victories over a host of talented opponents on their way to 7
winning this year’s Division II State crown underscore the athletic 8
prowess and determination of the players, and it is no surprise that 9
their maturity and drive have earned them so many admirers; and 10
WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of Coach Josh Piepenburg, the 11
Bulldogs have applied themselves to the quest for excellence both on 12
and off the field, devoting countless hours to vigorous training in 13
order to ensure peak conditioning. Their 20-1 season record is a 14
measure of their stalwart commitment to their sport, and their 15
indomitable spirit is to be applauded; and 16
WHEREAS, The road to victory and a championship title is a 17
difficult one, requiring ability, endurance, teamwork, and a positive 18
attitude on the part of players and coaches alike. The members of the 19
Olmsted Falls High School boys lacrosse team have exemplified all of 20
the characteristics that are essential for success, including courage, 21
discipline, integrity, and an innate sense of the principles of fair 22
play, and their efforts have earned them the admiration of all those 23
who have witnessed these outstanding athletes in action; therefore be 24

As Offered
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 27
celebrate the Olmsted Falls High School boys lacrosse team on winning 28
the 2023 Division II State Championship and congratulate the program 29
for its outstanding success; and be it further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Olmsted Falls High 32
School boys lacrosse team. 33
