                       A RESOLUTION
                  Honoring St. Peter Catholic Church
                    on its building’s Centennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to    2
St. Peter Catholic Church on the memorable occasion of the               3
One Hundredth Anniversary of its building, celebrated May 26-28, 2023;   4
and                                                                      5
     WHEREAS, Since its inception, St. Peter Catholic Church has         6
offered its members the pathway to a more meaningful life by             7
illuminating and demonstrating the precepts on which it was founded.     8
The spirit of love and Christian fellowship that exists among the        9
parishioners not only prevails within the church edifice itself but      10
also extends beyond those sacred walls to touch the lives of everyone    11
encountered by these devout disciples; and                               12
     WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of its pastors, both past     13
and present, St. Peter Catholic Church has experienced continual         14
growth and has provided a source of moral guidance and spiritual         15
motivation for each of its members. Over the years, the church has       16
enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and through    17
its generous efforts, it has earned the gratitude and respect of the     18
many citizens it has so capably served; and                              19
     WHEREAS, An event such as this is an important milestone that       20
represents dedication and commitment. Over the years, the members of     21
St. Peter Catholic Church have kept their faith alive in the North       22
Ridgeville community, and on this special anniversary of its building,   23
the congregation has accepted the challenge of carrying their beliefs    24
into the future; therefore be it                                         25

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,          27
applaud St. Peter Catholic Church on the One Hundredth Anniversary of     28
its building and offer best wishes as it upholds its rich legacy of       29
faith and fellowship in the years to come; and be it further              30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to St. Peter Catholic     32
Church.                                                                33
