                       A RESOLUTION
           Honoring the Dublin Jerome High School boys lacrosse team
              as the 2023 Division I State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Dublin Jerome High School boys        2
lacrosse team on securing the 2023 Division I State Championship; and    3
     WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of Coach Andy Asmo, the       4
members of the Dublin Jerome High School boys lacrosse team have         5
proven to be a talented and superbly conditioned squad and have gained   6
the respect of fans and opponents alike for their spirited and highly    7
motivated performance. Throughout the season, the players dedicated      8
themselves to improving their skills on the field, and consequently,     9
the Celtics accomplished their goals, bringing home this year’s          10
Division I State Championship title; and                                 11
     WHEREAS, Known as a driven and determined team, the Celtics have    12
developed into a remarkably efficient group of athletes whose skill is   13
equaled only by their exemplary display of teamwork and sportsmanship.   14
They are a credit not only to their families and their school but also   15
to the superb coaching of their mentor, Andy Asmo; and                   16
     WHEREAS, The road to victory and a championship title is a          17
difficult one, requiring ability, endurance, teamwork, and a positive    18
attitude on the part of students and coaches alike. The members of the   19
Dublin Jerome High School boys lacrosse team have exemplified all of     20
the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of    21
competition, including courage, discipline, integrity, and good          22
sportsmanship, and their efforts have earned them the admiration of      23
all those who have witnessed these outstanding athletes in action;       24

As Introduced
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General     26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Dublin     27
Jerome High School boys lacrosse team on winning the 2023 Division I       28
State Championship and commend all those associated with this              29
exceptional squad; and be it further                                       30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                31
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Dublin Jerome High School     32
boys lacrosse team.                                                        33
