                        A RESOLUTION
                     Honoring Boy Scout Troop 107
                           on its Centennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Boy Scout Troop 107 on   2
the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary, celebrated     3
May 6, 2023; and                                                         4
     WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting     5
tribute to Boy Scout Troop 107, for throughout the past century, this    6
fine organization has provided guidance and life experiences to many     7
in the City of Cincinnati. The troop has certainly enhanced the          8
quality of life within the surrounding area, and its achievements are    9
a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on its         10
members and leaders, both past and present, on its sponsor, Westwood     11
First Presbyterian Church, and on the entire community; and              12
     WHEREAS, Scouting combines the wisdom and leadership of adulthood   13
with the enthusiasm and optimism of youth so that our young people       14
will be better prepared to meet the challenges of the future. The        15
continued participation of Troop 107 in the Scouting program is          16
further assurance that Scouts will receive the guidance and              17
understanding that will encourage them to strive for excellence; and     18
     WHEREAS, Willingly giving their time, energy, and abilities, the    19
generations of members and leaders of Boy Scout Troop 107 have worked    20
tirelessly to better the world around them. We are proud to note that    21
it is through the diligent efforts of conscientious individuals such     22
as these that the State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper and        23
remains a pleasant place to call home; therefore be it                   24
    RESOLVED,   That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 25

the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,            26
applaud Boy Scout Troop 107 on its One Hundredth Anniversary and            27
salute all those associated with this fine group as outstanding             28
Ohioans; and be it further                                                  29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 30
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Boy Scout Troop 107.   31
