A RESOLUTION
Honoring Shawn Crosby
as a 2022 Comp Laude Industry Leader Award recipient.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 134th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Shawn Crosby on 2
being presented with a 2022 Comp Laude Industry Leader Award by 3
WorkCompCentral; and 4
WHEREAS, The chief of the claims service division of the Bureau 5
of Workers’ Compensation, Shawn Crosby is a tremendous asset to our 6
state for the important work she has accomplished for the citizens of 7
Ohio. Indeed, she merits praise for her decisive leadership, attention 8
to detail, and aptitude for creative problem solving; and 9
WHEREAS, Shawn Crosby’s superb credentials readily explain why 10
she was selected for this year’s Comp Laude Industry Leader Award, 11
which acknowledges the energy and skill with which she has approached 12
her responsibilities. Without question, her initiative, integrity, and 13
intelligence have had a tremendous impact, and in industry circles, 14
her name has become virtually synonymous with vision and vitality; and 15
WHEREAS, Indeed, Shawn Crosby’s generous contributions have 16
earned her the esteem of many, and she can be proud that her diligent 17
efforts have inspired others to dedicate themselves similarly. She has 18
striven to better the world around her, and in all of her endeavors, 19
she represents what the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation truly 20
encompasses; therefore be it 21
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 22
the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 23
salute Shawn Crosby for outstanding professional achievement and 24
extend best wishes for the future; and be it further 25

a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Shawn Crosby. 27
