A RESOLUTION
Honoring Brady McInerney as a 2022 Division II State
Swimming Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 134th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Brady McInerney on his 2
fantastic performance at the 2022 Division II State Swimming and 3
Diving Championships; and 4
WHEREAS, A senior at St. Francis DeSales High School, Brady 5
McInerney has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest 6
ideals of good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly 7
exceptional swimmer. With admirable dedication, he has worked 8
diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in his events, and as 9
a result, he won first place in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle at this 10
year’s Division II State Swimming and Diving Championships; and 11
WHEREAS, Brady McInerney’s accomplishments and leadership, both 12
in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an 13
outstanding reflection not only on him but also on all those who have 14
supported his success, including his coach, Ryan Buechner, his family, 15
and the whole of the Stallion community. His unwavering commitment to 16
excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of many; and 17
WHEREAS, Brady McInerney is an exemplary competitor, and his 18
resolve to be a two-time state champion is worthy of high praise. 19
Indeed, the maturity and experience he has gained through his 20
participation in swimming will greatly aid him in meeting the 21
challenges of the future; therefore be it 22
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 23
the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay 24
tribute to Brady McInerney as a 2022 Division II State Swimming 25

Champion and salute him as a fine Ohio athlete; and be it further 26
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 27
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brady McInerney. 28
