                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Wyoming High School boys soccer team as the
              2021 Division II State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 134th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Wyoming High    2
School boys soccer team on winning the 2021 Division II State            3
Championship; and                                                        4
     WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the   5
Wyoming High School boys soccer team have combined talent and            6
competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to      7
establish themselves as a truly exceptional squad. With admirable        8
dedication, the Cowboys have worked diligently toward attaining          9
ultimate proficiency in their sport, and as a result, they defeated a    10
tough Bay Village team by the score of 1-0 to win the 2021 Division II   11
State Championship and end the season with an impressive 19-2-2          12
record; and                                                              13
     WHEREAS, The achievements and leadership of the Cowboys are a       14
justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on them, their   15
families, their school, their community, and their coach, Adam Jones.    16
The success of any athletic endeavor depends largely on the ability of   17
the coaches to provide both guidance and inspiration. In leading their   18
team to victory, Coach Jones and his assistants have not only helped     19
their players to develop their talents to the fullest, but they have     20
also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination,                21
perseverance, and camaraderie; and                                       22
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   23
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased     24
to pay tribute to the fine athletes and the outstanding coaches of the   25
Wyoming High School boys soccer team for a job well done. The maturity   26

and experience the players have gained through participation in sports     27
will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future;             28
therefore be it                                                            29
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     30
the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, in        31
adopting this Resolution, commend the Wyoming High School boys soccer      32
team on its tremendous 2021 season and salute the players and coaches      33
as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further                       34
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     35
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Wyoming High           36
School boys soccer team.                                                   37
