A RESOLUTION
Honoring Representative John M. Rogers for his loyal
service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 133rd 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Representative John 2
M. Rogers for his outstanding service as a member of the Ohio House of 3
Representatives; and 4
WHEREAS, Throughout his distinguished tenure as a member of the 5
Ohio House of Representatives, John Rogers has demonstrated an 6
unwavering dedication to performing his duties and fulfilling his 7
responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence. 8
Representing the 60th District, he has ably served as a member of 9
the Criminal Justice, Finance, Public Utilities, and Ways and Means 10
committees as well as the Criminal Justice Subcommittee on Criminal 11

Sentencing. Displaying commendable determination and resolve, 12
Representative Rogers has brought his talents and experience to bear 13
on the ever-changing needs and issues of the Ohio General Assembly, 14
and he is worthy of emulation for his sincere endeavors during his 15
time in office; and 16
WHEREAS, John Rogers has given willingly of his time and energy 17
far beyond what was required or expected and has displayed a genuine 18
commitment to improving the quality of life in our society. His love 19
for Ohio and his sincere desire to serve its people to the best of his 20
ability have shown him to be a truly concerned and responsible public 21
servant, and we are proud to note that it is through the efforts of 22
conscientious individuals such as he that our state and nation 23
continue to grow and prosper; and 24
WHEREAS, Election to public office is one of the highest honors 25
that the people in a democracy can bestow upon a fellow citizen. As a 26
member of the Ohio House of Representatives, John Rogers has 27
consistently maintained a high degree of achievement and has displayed 28
a level of integrity and commitment that has earned him the respect 29
and admiration of colleagues on both sides of the political aisle. 30
Whether engaged in floor debate or in committee deliberations, he has 31
brought a full measure of enthusiasm, intelligence, and civic spirit 32
to his duties, and he has effectively served his constituents and the 33
Great State of Ohio; therefore be it 34
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 35
the 133rd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 36
applaud Representative John M. Rogers on his exemplary service to the 37
Ohio House of Representatives and salute him as a fine Ohioan; and be 38
it further 39
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 40
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Representative John M. 41
Rogers. 42
