Highway The eastbound and westbound lanes of State Route 2, between E. 55th St. and
E. 72nd St., in Cuyahoga County.
Other Information Private John R. Towle served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was
killed in action on September 21, 1944, in the Netherlands. He was
posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions.
