A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate
team as the Grand Champion at the 2019 FIRST Lego
League Legoland California International Open.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 1
133rd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special 2
recognition to the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team 3
on receiving the Grand Champion Award at the 2019 FIRST Lego 4
League Legoland California International Open; and 5
WHEREAS, The members of the Dublin City School District 8 to 6
Automate team are remarkable young individuals, who have combined 7
talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to 8
establish themselves as truly exemplary students. Indeed, they 9
devoted countless hours to their project, entitled “Bernoulli 10
Table,” which created the effect of artificial gravity, and the 11
squad finished second in the robot performance competition and won 12
the Grand Champion Award at this year’s FIRST Lego League Legoland 13
California International Open; and 14
WHEREAS, Through practice and preparation, the Dublin City 15
School District 8 to Automate team members, Kunaal Gudavalli, Anya 16
Zhang, Arwen Zhang, Sathvik Allipuram, Malcolm Masri, Max Imamura, 17
Brandon Dietz, and Tyler Dietz, have displayed determination and 18
motivation of which they can be proud. The squad’s efforts are 19
truly admirable, for they have shown outstanding enthusiasm and 20
expertise in all of their endeavors; and 21
WHEREAS, The accomplishments of the Dublin City School 22
District 8 to Automate team are a justifiable source of pride and 23
a fine reflection not only on the members but also on their 24

families, their mentors, Panya Bhinder and Cynthia Bryden, their 25
coaches, Farid and Judi Masri, their schools, and their community. 26
We look with optimism to a future that reflects the great 27
discoveries and progress that can be achieved by Ohio’s next 28
generation of leaders; therefore be it 29
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of 30
Representatives of the 133rd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting 31
this Resolution, commend the Dublin City School District 8 to 32
Automate team on its success and salute its members and advisors 33
as fine Ohioans; and be it further 34
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives 35
transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the 36
Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team. 37
