TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the public authorities law, in relation to providing for
the financing and construction of capital facilities for Yeshiva Ohr
Yoseph
 
PURPOSE:
To enable the Dormitory Authority to determine funding eligibility for
Yeshiva Ohr Yoseph in accordance with the Dormitory Authority's financ-
ing guidelines and procedures.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
In order to receive financing through the Dormitory Authority, Yeshiva
Ohr Yoseph must be included in § 1676 and § 1680 of the public authori-
ties law as an organization eligible for such consideration. The enact-
ment of this bill into law would not mean that the Authority will under-
take financing on behalf of this institution, but will permit the
institution to make application for such funding. Any such determination
will be made by the Authority's board in accordance with the Authority's
financing guidelines and procedures.
