TITLE OF BILL:
An act authorizing Breanne M. Smith to receive a refund of certain accu-
mulated contributions paid to the New York state and local employees'

PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
Authorizes Breanne M. Smith to receive a refund of certain accumulated
contributions paid to the New York state and local employees' retirement
system
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section 1: Allows Breanne Smith to receive a refund of certain accumu-
lated contributions paid to the New York state and local employees'
retirement system
Section 2: Provisions of this act are not subject to section 25 of the
retirement and social security law.
Section 3: Effective date
 
JUSTIFICATION:
Breanne Smith who is a tier 4 member of the New York city employee
retirement system faced some issues transferring her retirement over to
the New York state and local employees' retirement system. This bill
would fix those issues.
