TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to the safety
and emissions inspections of new motor vehicles
 
PURPOSE:
To eliminate the need for new vehicles to get inspections in their first
and second years.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section 1 states that new motor vehicles shall not need a safety or
emissions inspection until the third year after such initial inspection
by the dealer.
Section 2 authorizes this act to take effect immediately.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
New motor vehicles sport standards. They are the and emissions
inspection years 1 and 2. This bill the 3rd year. the newest and great-
est safety and emission cream of the crop, and -beyond the initial safe-
ty prior to sale- they should not need inspections in says new vehicles
