TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the executive law, in relation to adding Lake Oscawana
and Roaring Brook Lake in Putnam county to the definition of inland
waterways
 
PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
Adds Lake Oscawana and Roaring Brook Lake in the town of Putnam
Valley(Putnam County) to the definition of inland waterways.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section one amends paragraph (a) of subdivision 4 of section 911 of the
executive law to add Lake Oscawana and Roaring Brook Lake in the town of
Putnam Valley (Putnam County) to the definition of inland waterways.
Section two is the effective date.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
The town of Putnam Valley requested the inclusion of these lakes as
inland waterways for the purpose of waterfront revitalization.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect immediately.
