TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the elder law, in relation to establishing a state
master plan on aging dashboard
 
PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
To require NYSOFA to have a public-facing, interactive, real-time dash-
board to track progress on implementing the state master plan on aging.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Requires NYSOFA to have a public-facing, interactive, real-time dash-
board to track progress on implementing the state master plan on aging.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
The State Master Plan on Aging was released in the Summer of 2025; it
was the product of public hearings, meetings, and roundtables with
stakeholders for over three years. The report is nearly 400 pages in
length with over 100 specific proposals. Over a dozen bills have already
been introduced based upon MPA concepts. Therefore, NYSOFA should have a
public-facing, interactive, real-time dashboard to track progress on
implementing the state master plan on aging.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This bill would take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after it
shall have become law.
