TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the real property tax law, in relation to disabled
veterans a municipality may exempt from certain taxation
 
PURPOSE:
To allow veterans with any service connected disability to claim a real
property tax exemption.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section 1 amends the real property tax exemption for disabled veterans
to include veterans with any service connected disability.
Section 2 This act shall take effect immediately.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
Disabilities that are obtained while serving can leave veterans unable
to work and provide for their families. Veterans with any service
connected disability deserve to have their financial strain lowered.
This legislation expands the current real property tax exemption to
include any level of disability.
