TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the executive law, in relation to requiring that the
annual report from the division of minority and women's business devel-
opment contain information on the annual minority and women-owned busi-
ness enterprise utilization and expenditure categorized by minority-
owned enterprises, women-owned enterprises, and total utilization and
expenditure, and be organized by certain industry categories
PURPOSE:
This is a chapter amendment that makes changes to L.2025, C.661
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
This legislation amends the underlying chapter by removing a breakdown
of the reported information by minority groups, by removing reporting on
specific contracts and clarifying the industry type breakdown of the
utilization information in the report.
JUSTIFICATION:
This legislation is a negotiated change to the underlying chapter.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same manner as a
Chapter of the Laws of 2025 amending the executive law relating to
requirements of the annual report from the division of minority and
women's business development, as proposed in legislative bills numbers
5.8393 and A.7222, takes effect.
