TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the domestic relations law, in relation to what quali-
fies as an applicable, timely and relevant economic issue for no fault
separation
 
PURPOSE:
This is a chapter amendment that makes technical changes to L.2025,
C.673.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
This legislation amends the underlying chapter by aligning the terminol-
ogy used with the comparable no fault divorce statute.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
This legislation is a negotiated change to the underlying chapter.

Chapter amendment to Chapter 673 of the Laws of 2025.
 
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.
 
EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same manner as a
chapter of the laws of 2025 amending the domestic relations law relating
to allowing for no fault separation, as proposed in legislative bills
numbers S. 1261-A and A. 3392-A, takes effect.
