TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend a chapter of the laws of 2025 relating to authorizing
the Thiells-Roseville Fire District to file an application for exemption
from school taxes and real property taxes, as proposed in legislative
bills numbers S. 6428 and A. 6657, in relation to making technical
corrections thereto
 
PURPOSE:
This is a chapter amendment that makes changes to L.2025, C.658.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
This legislation makes technical amendments to the underlying chapter by
replacing the statutory reference from Section 464 of the Real Property
Tax Law, which is applicable to incorporated associations of volunteer
firefighters, to Section 410, which is the applicable statutory refer-
ence for special districts.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
This legislation is a negotiated change to the underlying chapter.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same manner as a
chapter of the laws of 2025 relating to authorizing the Thiells-Rose-
ville Fire District to file an application for exemption from school
taxes and real property taxes, as proposed in legislative bill numbers
S.6428 and A.6657.
