TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to
alternatives for the use of pesticides in the monarch preservation plan
 
PURPOSE:
This is a chapter amendment that makes changes to L.2025, C.620.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
This legislation amends the underlying chapter by refining the agency's
role regarding alternative pest management practices and clarifying when
agricultural land is subject to the underlying chapter.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
This legislation is a negotiated change to the underlying chapter.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same manner as a
chapter of the laws of 2025 amending the environmental conservation law
relating to enacting the monarch preservation plan, as proposed in
legislative bills numbers S.3163 and A.1819, takes effect.
