TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the labor law, in relation to requiring contractors and
subcontractors performing construction work for covered renewable energy
systems to have apprenticeship agreements; and to amend a chapter of the
laws of 2025, amending the labor law relating to requiring contractors
and subcontractors performing construction work for covered renewable
energy systems to use apprenticeship agreements, as proposed in legisla-
tive bills numbers S. 4881-A and A. 2730-A, in relation to the effec-
tiveness thereof  
PURPOSE:
This is a chapter amendment that makes changes to L.2025, C.362.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
This legislation amends the underlying chapter by changing the effective
date and clarifying the bill's application. This legislation is a nego-
tiated change to the underlying chapter.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that section
one of this act shall take effect on the same date and in the same
manner as a chapter of the laws of 2025 amending the labor relating to
requiring contractors and subcontractors performing construction work
for covered renewable energy systems to use apprenticeship agreements,
as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 4881-A and A. 2730-A, takes
effect.
