TITLE OF BILL:
An act in relation to authorizing the conveyance of certain property by
the city of New York to The Allah Youth Center in Mecca Inc.
 
PURPOSE:
Allows New York City to convey certain property to the Allah Youth
Center in Mecca Inc.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Allows New York City to convey certain property to the Allah Youth
Center in Mecca Inc.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
The Allah School In Mecca has operated in the same building, at the same
site since 1967 under effective ownership under a long them lease. The
address known as 2122 Adam Clayton Powell, Boulevard in Manhattan, New
York has been in use for 59 years by the Allah School providing educa-
tional, social, recreational and developmental community-based services
to the Harlem community in Manhattan. This conveyance is in recognition
of The Allah School's long-standing service to the Harlem community
which dates back to 1967. It is supported by NYC DCAS.
