All New York City employees, including those from the Department of
Parks and Recreation, deserve to be protected and have the right to work
without fear of violence. As public servants, they serve our community,

Department of Parks and Recreation to a felony, consistent with similar
protections for other City employees. This will deter workplace violence
and ensure strong protections for more dedicated public servants.
