TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend chapter 339 of the laws of 2023 amending the tax law
relating to authorizing an occupancy tax in the town of Putnam Valley,
in Putnam county, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof
 
PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
Extends the authorization to have an occupancy tax in the town of Putnam
Valley, in the county of Putnam.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Extends the effective date of the Town of Putnam Valley hotel tax for an
additional two years.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
At the request of Town of Putnam Valley, this legislation extends their
hotel tax for an additional two years.
