TITLE OF BILL:
An act relating to permitting "A Beautiful Noise, LLC" to file an appli-
cation for a New York city musical and theatrical production tax credit
 
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this bill is to allow the Broadway production A Beautiful
Noise to apply for the NYC musical and theatrical tax credit.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section 1 and 2 allows A Beautiful Noise to apply for the NYC Musical
and Theatrical tax credit.
Section 3 states that this act shall take effect immediately.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
The Broadway production "A Beautiful Noise" should be eligible for the
NYC Musical and Theatrical tax credit as all other productions like it
did. This production was denied access to the credit due to an adminis-
trative oversight and this bill would rectify that oversight.
