TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend chapter 658 of the laws of 1991 establishing a library
district in the village of Mamaroneck, Westchester county, in relation
to the number of members of the board of trustees
 
PURPOSE OF BILL:
This bill amends chapter 658 of the laws of 1991 establishing a library
district in the village of Mamaroneck, Westchester county, to change the
number of members of the board of trustees from eleven to no less than
five and no more than fifteen.
 
SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS:
Section 1 amends section 2 of chapter 658 of the laws of 1991 establish-
ing a library district in the village of Mamaroneck, Westchester county,
to change the number of members of the board of trustees from eleven to
no less than five and no more than fifteen.
Section 2 amends section 3 of chapter 658 of the laws of 1991 to change
the number of members of the board of trustees of the Mamaroneck Public
Library District from eleven to no less than five and no more than
fifteen.
Section 3 establishes the effective date.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
The Board of Trustees of the Mamaroneck public library district
requested this change.
