BILL NUMBER: S7342
SPONSOR: WEIK

TITLE OF BILL:
An act in relation to prohibiting the administration of COVID-19 mRNA
vaccinations

PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
AN ACT in relation to prohibiting the administration of COVID-19 mRNA
vaccinations.

SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS:
Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
the administration of COVID-19 mRNA vaccinations is prohibited until the
department of health analyzes any existing data and concludes that the
benefits of such vaccine outweigh the risks.
Section 2. The department of health shall conduct a study and make
recommendations on the benefits and risks of the administration of
COVID-19 mRNA vaccinations. Such analysis shall include, but not be
limited to, a self-controlled case series which shall be completed with-
in one year of the effective date of this act. Only after the conclusion
of such analysis the department determines that the administration of
COVID-19 mRNA vaccinations are safe may the use of such vaccine contin-
ue.
Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.

JUSTIFICATION:
Florida's Department of Health released an analysis of COVID-19-vacci-
nated individuals in their state that revealed an 84% increase in the
relative incidence of cardiac-related death within 28 days following
mRNA vaccination in males ages 18-39.
It is evident that we have a problem with cardiac complications that can
arise after receiving an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. This bill would follow
Florida's model through a self-controlled case series - a technique
developed to evaluate vaccine safety - that New York State can easily
replicate. Due to this alarming revelation, the obvious first step is an
immediate suspension of the recommendation of mRNA COVID-19 vaccinations
until further analysis is released to the public and safety can be prov-
en.
