TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in
relation to allowing veterans to fish for free in state parks
PURPOSE OF GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
To allow veterans to fish for free in state parks.
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
This bill amends the parks, recreation and historic preservation law by
adding a new section 13.14 which shall allow veterans of the armed forc-
es of the United States to fish for free at all state parks under the
jurisdiction of the office or other state agency.
JUSTIFICATION:
Veterans have served our country and their compensation for service is
minimal. This bill would offset the financial obligations of sportsman-
ship and provide a benefit for their service to our country.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall have
