TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to the imposi-
tion of securing orders for felony crimes committed by individuals with-
out permanent residency status
PURPOSE OF BILL:
To impose securing orders for felony crimes committed by individuals
without permanent residency status
SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS:
Section one amends section 510.10 of the criminal procedure law by
adding a new subdivision 7.
Section two is the effective date.
JUSTIFICATION:
When an illegal alien is arrested for committing a felony in New York
State, they should not be eligible for bail and must be remanded until
there is a resolution on their case. Illegal aliens are by definition
the most risk of flight and therefore must be remanded so that justice
can be served for the residents of New York.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall have
become a law.
