TITLE OF BILL:
An act in relation to authorizing Justin Finkle to take the competitive
civil service examination for the position of police officer and be
placed on the eligible list for employment as a full-time police officer
for the town of Bethlehem
 
PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
To grant Justin Finkle the ability to take the civil service exam to
apply for a job as a police officer town of Bethlehem.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section 1: States that Justin Finkle may take the civil service exam,
notwithstanding the age requirement under paragraph (a) or any other
provision of the law, and shall be placed on the eligible list for
appointment as a full-time police officer with the town of Bethlehem,
contingent on scoring.
Section 2: States effective date.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
Justin Finkle requires an age exemption to take the civil service exam
to apply to become a police officer in the town of Bethlehem
