TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the public health law, in relation to exempting private
and parochial schools and day care centers from immunization require-
ments
PURPOSE:
An Act to amend the public health law, in relation to exempting private
and parochial schools and daycare centers from immunization require-
ments.
SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS:
Section 1 the public health law is amended.
Section 2 identifies effective date.
JUSTIFICATION:
The decision on whether to vaccinate is a protected Constitutional and
God given right for every individual living in this state. Forcing
vaccinations is an egregious overreach of state Government on the people
and a blatant invasion of privacy. This bill will allow private and
parochial schools and daycare centers to decide on vaccination require-
ments for enrolled students. This bill would give schools and families
more control in the very personal decision regarding vaccinations.
