TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the election law, in relation to changing the date of
designation for election inspectors and poll clerks
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section one amends the election law to move the date for county boards
of election to select and appoint election inspectors, poll clerks, and
election coordinators from on or before July 15 of each year to January
1 and changes the term for such appointments to end December 31St of the
same year.
Section two changes the date for political parties to file recommenda-
tions for representation on boards of elections from no later than the
first of May to the fifteenth day of November in each year.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
This bill will improve the efficacy of election administration through-
out the State.
