TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the executive law, in relation to certain contact infor-
mation provided to crime victims
 
PURPOSE:
This is a chapter amendment that makes changes to L.2024,C.574.
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
This legislation amends the underlying chapter by clarifying which agen-
cies will be required to provide certain notifications to crime victims.
 
JUSTIFICATION:
This legislation is a negotiated change to the underlying chapter.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same manner as a
chapter of the laws of 2024 amending the executive law relating to
certain notifications and the rights of crime victims, as proposed in
legislative bills numbers S. 5502 and A. 4199, takes effect.
