TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the public service law, in relation to requiring certain
call centers to provide the public service commission information
regarding closures
PURPOSE:
This is a chapter amendment that makes changes to provisions of L.2023,
c.545, to require utilities to file annual affidavits with the Public
Service Commission affirming compliance with the provisions of Chapter
330 of the laws of 2010.
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
This legislation makes technical changes.
JUSTIFICATION:
This legislation is a negotiated change to the underlying chapter.
LEGISLATIVE HISTORY:
Chapter Amendment to Chapter 545 of the Laws of 2023. S.6694 and A.3125A
passed the Assembly in May and the Senate in June 2023.

None.
EFFECTIVE DATE:
This act shall take effect immediately; This act shall take effect on
the same date and in the same manner as a chapter of the laws of 2023
amending the public service law relating to certain call centers, as
proposed in legislative bills numbers S.6694 and A.3125-A, takes effect.
