TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend chapter 405 of the laws of 2005 amending the tax law
relating to authorizing the county of Albany to impose a county record-
ing tax on obligations secured by a mortgage on real property, in
relation to extending the effectiveness thereof
 
PURPOSE:
Extends the authorization to impose a county recording tax on obli-
gations secured by a mortgage on real property in Albany County
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section 2 of chapter 405of the laws of 2005 is amended to authorize the
county of Albany to impose a country recording tax on obligations
secured by a mortgage on real property for an additional two years
 
JUSTIFICATION:
Per local request this legislation extends the Albany County Mortgage
recording tax until December 1, 2025
