TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend the highway law, in relation to designating a portion of
the state highway system in the town of Wallkill as the "Private First
Class Richard Cleveland Dunn Memorial Highway"
 
PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
An act to amend the highway law, in relation to designating a portion of
the state highway system as the "Private First Class Richard Cleveland
Dunn Memorial Bridge"
 
SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS:
Section 1: Amends the highway law is to designate a portion of the state
highway system as the "Private First Class Richard Cleveland Dunn Memo-
rial Bridge"
Section 2: Requires the Commissioner of DOT to install and maintain
adequate signage.
Section 3: Provides the effective date JUSTIFICATION: It is important
to recognize and commemorate our deceased wartime veterans. This bill
will promote public awareness of Private First Class Richard Cleveland
Dunn and show appreciation and respect for his contribution to our coun-
try.
