Existing law sets the annual base salary for judges of the Nevada Court of Appeals at $165,000 and provides for increases in the annual base salary every 6 years based upon the cumulative percentage increase in the salaries of the classified employees of this State. (NRS 2A.080) Beginning on the first Monday in January 2029, section 1 of this bill removes the cumulative percentage increase and instead sets the annual base salary for judges of the Nevada Court of Appeals every 6 years based upon a specified calculation.
