Existing law creates the Nevada Air Service Development Commission within the Office of Economic Development in the Office of the Governor and provides for the membership of the Commission. (NRS 231.680) Section 1 of this bill transfers the Commission to the Department of Transportation. Section 1 also revises the membership of the Commission, providing for the Director of the Department of Transportation, or a designee of the Director, to serve on the Commission in place of the Executive Director of the Office of Economic Development. Section 2 of this bill makes a conforming change to provide that the Nevada Air Service Development Commission is within the Department of Transportation.
