Nevada's Healthcare Support and Assistance (HSA) Program was developed in response to changes in Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage, which led to a significant decline in the Nevada Senior and Disability Prescription Drug Program membership. Through the Fund for a Healthy Nevada, Nevada's HSA Program offers aid to older adults and persons with disabilities who have modest incomes for the purchase of prescription drugs, pharmaceutical services, and to obtain devices or other services to meet their healthcare needs. HSA programs offer subsidies, direct financial assistance, benefits through local partnerships, or other forms of relief to assist Nevada's most vulnerable population with healthcare related costs.
