The Nevada Constitution imposes various procedural requirements relating to the passage of bills and joint resolutions by the Legislature. (Nev. Const. Art. 4, § 18) This resolution proposes to amend the Nevada Constitution to require that the language of a bill or joint resolution be made available to the public by publication on the Internet website of the Legislature for at least 72 hours before a House may vote on the final passage of the bill or joint resolution. The House may only waive such requirement upon request of the Governor for an emergency.
