The Nevada Constitution imposes various procedural requirements relating to the passage of bills and joint resolutions by the Legislature. (Nev. Const. Art. 4, ยง 18) This resolution proposes to amend the Nevada Constitution to require that the language of a bill or joint resolution be made available to the public by publication on the Internet website of the Legislature for at least 72 hours before a House may vote on the final passage of the bill or joint resolution. The House may only waive such requirement upon request of the Governor for an emergency.
