Existing law requires the State Public Works Division of the Department of Administration to cooperate with other departments and agencies of the State in their planning efforts. Existing law also requires the State Public Works Board of the Division to submit reports and recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature relating to capital improvement projects and the priority of construction projects. (NRS 341.083, 341.127) Section 2 of this bill requires the Division to implement and maintain a long-term plan that addresses the future need for suitable office spaces for the departments and agencies of the Executive Department of State Government, and further requires such departments and agencies to cooperate with the Division on a biennial basis in such planning efforts. Section 1 of this bill requires the Board to consider the long-term plan in their recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature.
