AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HEALTH CARE CONSOLIDATION OVERSIGHT ACT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of superintendent of insurance for expenditure in fiscal years 2024 and 2025 to implement the provisions of the Health Care Consolidation Oversight Act, including personnel, contracts and other expenses, contingent on Senate Bill 15 or similar legislation of the second session of the fifty-sixth legislature becoming law. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2025 shall revert to the general fund.
