AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE ADVERTISEMENTS, COMMERCIALS AND PUBLICITY FOR THE ISLETA NEW MEXICO BOWL VIA TELEVISION AND OTHER PLATFORMS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Nine hundred thousand dollars ($900,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal years 2025 through 2027 to purchase advertisements, commercials and publicity for the Isleta New Mexico Bowl via national television and other platforms. The department shall not spend more than three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) in each fiscal year. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2027 shall revert to the general fund.
