Additionally, the bill allows the Commissioner of the Department of Veterans Affairs, or any state agency managing a historical battlefield, to apply for and accept grants from various sources, including federal agencies and private organizations, to support the development and implementation of these memorial replicas. The funds received will be appropriated and managed according to the established guidelines. The act is set to take effect 90 days after its enactment.
