This bill proposes an increase in the fee for a 48-month power vessel operator's license from $18 to $30. Additionally, it stipulates that starting July 1 following the enactment of the bill, $750,000 of the revenue generated from these license fees will be allocated annually to the "Lake Hopatcong Fund," an increase from the previous allocation of $500,000. The Lake Hopatcong Fund is utilized by the Lake Hopatcong Commission for various activities aimed at the protection, preservation, restoration, maintenance, management, and enhancement of Lake Hopatcong.

Furthermore, the bill mandates that each power vessel operator's license issued will include a digitized color picture of the licensee, with an additional fee of $6 for this feature. The act is set to take effect immediately upon passage.
