This bill revises the eligibility criteria for Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) grants and campus-based EOF programs in New Jersey. It specifically allows students who have previously earned an associate degree or college credits, or who have participated in or completed a dual degree program while in high school, to qualify for EOF grants, provided they meet the existing eligibility requirements. The new legal language inserted into the current law clarifies that these students are eligible for opportunity grants and cannot be excluded from participating in campus-based EOF programs.
