This bill establishes new requirements for fee disclosure related to ticket sales, mandating that individuals and entities involved in ticket sales—including resellers, brokers, issuers, and resale websites—must clearly disclose the total cost of a ticket, inclusive of all ancillary fees such as service charges. This disclosure must be made in a clear and conspicuous manner, displayed in dollars, and if the ticket is sold online, the information must be presented before the ticket selection process. Additionally, the price of a ticket sold online cannot increase during the purchase process, except for reasonable delivery fees for non-electronic tickets, which must be selected by the purchaser prior to payment.

Furthermore, the bill stipulates that places of entertainment and their representatives cannot charge any premium or price above the set ticket price plus lawful taxes. However, it allows for reasonable service charges related to special services and permits initial ticket sales through auctions. Sellers or resellers may charge for the physical delivery of tickets based on the chosen delivery method, but they cannot impose delivery fees for electronically delivered tickets or those that can be printed by the buyer. The act is set to take effect on the first day of the seventh month following its enactment.
