The training will cover the duty to disclose confidentiality limits to victims, appropriate response methods, and the obligation to report incidents to institutional authorities.
Additionally, the bill requires responsible employees to report any alleged incidents of sexual harassment or sexual violence that occur on campus, at off-campus locations related to institutional activities, or through electronic communication. Upon receiving a report, institutions must investigate the allegations and take appropriate actions to resolve the situation. The bill emphasizes that it does not restrict students' rights under the Campus Sexual Assault Victims Bill of Rights.
