This bill amends the Unfair Motor Fuels Practices Act to establish regulations regarding the pricing of motor fuels charged by distributors, refiners, wholesalers, or suppliers to retail dealers. Specifically, it mandates that the tank wagon price must be determined using a formula that has been negotiated and agreed upon by the parties involved, and it cannot exceed five cents per gallon above the listed price at the distribution terminal at the time of purchase. The bill outlines exceptions to this requirement, including situations where the retail dealer owns the property of the station, leases it from a third party not involved in the fuel supply chain, or pertains to consignment sales and existing contracts prior to the bill's effective date.

Furthermore, any contracts for motor fuel entered into after the bill's effective date must adhere to these new pricing regulations. Violations of this provision will result in a fine of $5,000 for each delivery of motor fuel that is priced contrary to the established guidelines. The bill is set to take effect immediately upon passage.
