Additionally, the bill specifies that the Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, in consultation with the State Commissioner of Health, will be responsible for prescribing and providing the necessary forms for these reports. This change aims to provide physicians with more flexibility in reporting while still ensuring that the MVC is informed of relevant medical conditions that may affect a patient's ability to drive safely. The act is set to take effect immediately upon passage.
